Exegetical Study: 1 Corinthians
Join us for an in-depth study of 1 Corinthians. This verse-by-verse study of the letter undertakes a detailed analysis of the Graeco-Roman culture of the city and its congregants, as well as a contextual analysis of the rhetoric of Paul’s letter. Where relevant, lexical and grammatical elements are highlighted so that the letter can be thoroughly understood and applied by a contemporary audience.

Exegetical Study: The Book of Revelation
What has been, what is yet to come, and where are we now? This verse-by-verse study of the Revelation of Jesus Christ to John addresses popular theological interpretations and misconceptions surrounding this complex and densely symbolic work. Learn the historical and situational context of the letter and undertake a detailed survey of all the biblical symbols the author employs. By taking a closer look at the arrangement and theology of the letter we can uncover the essential message its author wished to communicate. More than simply a prophecy or an apocalyptic, this letter brought hope to a christian community caught in a culture of idolatry.
